Re: ^^^^^Pregnant After 35 Weekly Check-in^^^^^
Updates: How are you feeling? Any events/news to share? New pregnancy symptoms or any that have disappeared?
I am tired, tired, tired. I have fallen asleep shortly after 8 PM 3 of the last 4 nights. I think the little man is going through a growth spurt and is sapping all my energy. My belly has certainly popped in the last week.
I can't believe I have only 1 month left until I hit the 3T. I must get started on the nursery. But, see above re: tiredness.
Question of the Week (QOTW): What is your biggest concern about pregnancy, labor or delivery? Not going into labor on my own. I really don't want another c-section and induction is not an option. Luckily my doctors will let me go to 42 weeks but I am still worried that my body doesn't know what to do.

I finally had a couple of days of queasiness and food aversions last week, but that went away after a couple of days. Since then, I've been super-duper tired, but that's about it.
Question of the Week (QOTW): What is your biggest concern about pregnancy, labor or delivery?
My biggest concern is whether I'll actually end up with a baby at the end of this journey.
Updates: How are you feeling? Any events/news to share? New pregnancy symptoms or any that have disappearer?
I have lower back pain, tons of groin pain/pressure and period like cramps on and off throughout the day. I know these are all signs of labor, which is good. Will get my first internal next Monday (36 week check). I've never gone past 38 weeks. Between how I'm feeling and previous experience, I expect to hear that that the internal confirms things are moving along.
Question of the Week (QOTW): What is your biggest concern about pregnancy, labor or delivery? My biggest concerns are 1) when I need to go to the hospital, the coordination of our other 2 kids. Sure would be nice if things happened on a Friday, Sat or Sun. 2) having a baby that is healthy (just had a friend who delivered baby #2 that was unexpectidely born with a cleft palatte) and 3) that nursing goes well. This is very important to me. 32 months of BF between 1 and 2.
My belly decidedly "popped" this week. I woke up yesterday & just felt heavier. DH said, " I don't mean to be insensitive, but you look bigger." I didn't slap him (hard) b/c one sideways glance in the mirror proved him right.
Our biggest concern right now is the upcoming a/s on Nov. 1st. We're just hoping everything is o.k. w/baby.

Hi ladies - sorry I have been MIA lately. The nausea finally started to get better a couple of weeks ago, but I am still really tired. Combined with some long work hours lately (will put up a separate post about that...), I have been crashing after supper every night. Otherwise, feeling OK these days. I am eagerly awaiting some movement from this LO, just to let me know all is still well in there. Our level II ultrasound is the 20th, and I think DH and I have finally made the decision that we will officially stay team green. All I care about at this point is that LO is healthy.
Question of the Week (QOTW): What is your biggest concern about pregnancy, labor or delivery? Biggest concern - having a healthy LO. After that: epidurals! I have always been afraid of someone sticking needles into my spine, but I think the fear of labor pain might end up outweighing that. One of my coworkers had a significant complication last year (it went up instead of down, and she felt like she couldn't breathe). I'm sure complications are rare, but it is really worrying me at the moment...3/11 Clomid-Ovidrel-IUI #1-progesterone= BFN.

I am mentally and physically wiped out. Tomorrow is my last day of work until the beginning of Dec ((yay!)). My girl turns 16 on Thursday and then...baby on Friday. Kinda of excitingQuestion of the Week (QOTW): What is your biggest concern about pregnancy, labor or delivery?Having a c-section I am nervous about how long it may take for my milk to come in and being a complete fail at BF. I am terrified of the nurses not giving me the baby after she is born...that they will take her away from me like they did my first one.

Symptoms: nausea conts. Some days good, other days not so hot. Yesterday and today not so hot.
Labor/Delivery concerns: to numerous to mention as this is my first pregnancy and I have no idea what to expect. Not feeling OB right now so might be making a switch. Am also hiring a doula to help DH and I through all this.
Feeling more and more tired - 6 weeks to go - but generally keeping very well. Braxton Hicks. No heartburn or indigestion like i had with previous 2 pregnancies
Cant wait to bend over again and have my energy back.
QOTW: Im scared. I have been induced twice. First labor was 25 hours and exhausting, 2nd labor had vacuum extraction and v painful. So this time im nervous. I cant stop thinking about it at the moment , and the pubic bone pain is a constant reminder of whats ahead.....
Cant believe Ill have a new baby in just a few weeks - excited about that part!

(DH's b-day is 5/23!!!!!)
Will find out the sex at 20 weeks.
BB's sore ALOT. May be from the Progesterone suppositories though. My levels were at 17, but due to a loss for each of us earlier in our lives she wants to throw us as much help as possible. Nausea has stepped it up but if I eat it goes away?
Just want a healthy baby. Labor scares me some. What if the epidural doesn't work? What if they mess up when they give me the shot? I don't want to feel anything but will trade it for a perfect baby.
OMG, it has been forever since I posted on this board!
My update: I was due 8-27-11, but while awaiting my 9-6 induction date I delivered a perfect baby girl on 9-2-11. She is named Annika Reiko, her MN being Japanese as her grandmother is Japanese.
Here's my birth story for anyone interested. (warning - it's very long)

Updates: I'm 27w3d and am expected to stay on modified bed rest for another 67 days (it's already been 20 days but who's counting) due to pre-term labor. Weekly perinatologist appointments show that the baby is doing great and the contractions aren't productive. Next week is glucose test.
What is your biggest concern about pregnancy, labor or delivery?
My biggest concern is delivering earlier than 37 weeks and the complications that could be associated with the health of our son if he arrives early. After that, getting the epidural just right and the entire delivery process in general. This is my first so just the uncertainty of not knowing just what to expect makes me anxious.

I am feeling much better now that I am closer to 3rd tri.... other then the sobbing sessions at work and the total fear of how the ** am I gonna do this? I keep wondering if SO and I are going to stay together as he is NOT happy about this at all and with my feelings it is becoming rather depressing. He keeps bringing negative remarks into it and it is really scaring me that things are not going to go the way they should. SIGH
Question of the Week (QOTW): What is your biggest concern about pregnancy, labor or delivery? All out panic... seriously had 3 good deliveries before but I am scared SO has mentioned that he will not be much help at all ( nice huh) and that I am not physically up to it this time but have started more walking and even some prenatal/pregnancy workouts just to boost my spirits. It is tough to do this all alone.
I need to correct my due date it is March 3
Ever since my a/s the baby has been punching and kicking up a storm. There are no flutters like others have descibed but kicks that can be felt from the outside.

Updates: I'm turning 37 in 1 week and I am 5w1d preggo! This is my second pregnancy, I have a 3.5 year old son. My intake appt is Oct 27 and my first OB appt is Nov 9 and I will have an u/s that day:)
What is your biggest concern about pregnancy, labor or delivery?
I had so many issues with my first pregnancy, I'm worried about having the same or worse with this one, especially since I am almost 4 years older.
Updates: How are you feeling? Any events/news to share? New pregnancy symptoms or any that have disappeared? I'm feeling pretty good, most 1st tri symptoms are gone and I feel my energy coming back. I've been having some cramping the last couple weeks, it feels a little like RLP but it comes and goes a lot more. I've read that it's normal stretching but sometimes it makes me nervous
Question of the Week (QOTW): What is your biggest concern about pregnancy, labor or delivery? Since this is my first, I seem to have new concerns every week. Right now I'm most nervous about my weight gain. I was overweight to start and I've gained a little more than I would like to admit. My doc hasn't mentioned it but I'm sure it's coming. I try to eat well and my diet hasn't changed too much from pre BFP but the weight still keeps coming.
Updates: How are you feeling? Any events/news to share? New pregnancy symptoms or any that have disappeared?
I am SO GLAD to still be pregnant! I was high risk for preterm labor so that I am still pregnant is awesome. Sure, I feel like crap. People keep saying "oh you must be so ready to get him out" - and the truth is, I'm not. I want him in there as long as possible to be as healthy as possible.
Question of the Week (QOTW): What is your biggest concern about pregnancy, labor or delivery? Really, it's missing my DD. I adore her and will miss putting her to bed when I am in the hospital. Scheduled C section so I know I'll be in the hospital a few days.DMoney will be a kickass big sister
