I know I don't know any of you. In fact, I feel a little akward about this. For about 6 weeks now, my 5 year old cat has been throwing up 1-3 times a day. I took her to the Emergency vet 4 weeks ago. They did x-rays, didn't see an obstruction, and sent us home after giving her some anti-nausea medicine. They told us to just watch her.
We switched her food and things started looking better. She started keeping things down and eating more. This week she started throwing up again. I took her to the vet today, (my regular) and immediately he said "Oh, no" while feeling her belly. She has a golf ball sized mass on the right side of her abdomen.
He took bloodwork today, and said we're looking at surgery on Monday. He sent her home because she isn't dehydrated and told us to watch her and he'd call us with results tomorrow.
I just need some prayers and good wishes for my baby Bella. I lost her twin 4 years ago to a liver malfunction.
Thanks.
Molly
Re: NGPR: My cat
I'm a fellow cat lover. I'm so sorry to hear about your kitty. Did he say what the mass could be? A bowel obstruction or tumor? Hopefully its benign and all works out.
Sending your kitty lots of GL!
