Do they get a bath at night or when they wake up? I have always given daily baths to my son at night as part of the bedtime routine we've had ever since he was 4 months old. I was talking to another mom the other day and she was telling me how she woke up late and had to rush breakfast and her sons bath. I had never really thought about baths/showers in the morning instead of at night for kids. What do you do with your kids?
Re: When do you give your kids a bath?
During the weekdays the girls generally take a bath about an hour or hour and a half before bedtime. Only when it is a crazy night do I allow them to shower in the morning before school.
Weekends they just shower whenever throughout the day.

Our family is complete!
When DD was an infant I gave her baths at random times during the day. I remember one particularly stressful day that I felt I was losing my mind so I gave DD a bath and afterwards she smelled all fresh and clean and I felt so much better!
Since DD's been big enough to not use the infant tub, we do her bath in the evening before bed.
I do bath late in the afternoon before dinner.
Several reasons for this: He's usually filthy from playing outside in the afternoon, the bath sort of peps/hypes him up (which I don't want right before bed), and it gives me bath time to finish dinner details so he can eat right away.
