Period after Methotrexate shot

Hello ladies, I recently had an ectopic pregnancy. I was treated with methotrexate. My beta-hcg levels were confirmed 0 this past Tuesday. How long did it it take for your body to have a period once the pregnancy hormone went to back to zero? Was it weeks? a month or two?

I also got a methotrexate shot, this last Monday - and I"ve been wondering the same thing. from what my dr. said, once my level hits 0, it may be another 4 or so to get AF? Hopefully not though. As much as getting a confirmed 0 for the hcg level will be nice, I think I'll finally feel like this is all over and everything can get back to normal once AF comes.

I had an ectopic in June 2011 and was treated 7/21 with Methrotrexate, My beta-hcg hit 0 on 8/9 and I got my period on 8/27. I'm just waiting out the cycles now before we can start trying again. My ob had told us it could take up to 10 weeks to get my period after hitting 0.... I guess we were lucky. Hope you hit your 0 soon!! It's so much bloodwork and my arms were bruised like crazy.
