Any Sarasota or Lakewood Ranch Mommies?

Is anyone on this board from Sarasota or Lakewood Ranch area? DH and I moved to Sarasota at the end of last February and I'm looking for a mom's group in the area.  We have a 2yr old daughter and another on the way so I'd love to meet other moms in the area since we don't know too many people in the area yet.  If anyone has some info please let me know

    Both Sarasota Memorial and Lakewood Ranch medical center have mom groups that meet every week.  Also Baby Boot Camp is a work out group that is for moms and babies.. lots of great moms in that group too!

    The SMH mommy/baby groups are for ages birth-6 months and then 6-12 months. They meet on Wednesdays. There are also sometimes classes at Playaway as well as a (free!) preschool playgroup at the Woodlands Church in Sarasota on Tuesday mornings. I think I've heard that Forty Carrots has mommy/baby groups, too. If you're a breastfeeding mommy, there's a breastfeeding support group that meets on Fridays at 11:15 a.m. at The Gan at Temple Sinai.

    I live in the Bradenton/Lakewood Ranch area and pregnant with our first so any groups in the area would definitely be helpful.  Amy who is your doc and where are you delivering?
