Yes, in fact, I just heard it about 5 secs before reading this post, and I know LO is asleep in the PNP right behind me.
The only thing I chalk this up to is that there is a child outside crying somewhere, and whereas before, my brain would have ignored it, now it's sensitive to a baby's cry and hears it. But we have a lot of children in our 'hood.
Also to addd sometimes I am downstairs with the hubby & I'm like oh hes crying & hubs is like what? Then I wait a min and yup he is! My hubby can't hear it as well as me either.

Oh, definitely ditto on that. My husband can never hear her. He needs to carry the monitor everywhere with him, but I don't.
Thank you for posting this! My LO began STTN a few weeks ago, and still I wake up multiple times at night thinking that I hear him. Thought I was going nuts. It helps to know that others experience this.
There's also a daycare center right behind my house. When DS is sleeping I can never tell if it's the monitor or kids on the DC playground. Thank goodness I have a monitor that lights up when DS is actually making noise.

Yup. I hate it!

This is me too, usually when I am drifting off to sleep..and it will startle me awake. It used to be worse, seems to be slowing down now.
Yup.
