Will you have me too?
Good morning ladies!
Well here I am, CD 2 of my 8th cycle post loss. I have made the official call to my doctor for testing, which was a huge personal step for me. For some reason it was a very hard thing to do, like I am admitting that I am broking by making that call & I am terrified of what they might find. I go for CD3 b/w tomorrow. Part of me is not sure what to hope for during the process, if that makes sense. Do I hope they don't find anything wrong with either of us? that would be ideal, but then... what is the hold up?
Here's a little background on me... it's been a long time since my intro on TTCAL.
I am Christina & (32...turning 33 on Monday), DH is 37. We started dating in 2002 & got married in 2006. Started trying for our first on our one year anniversary & got my first BFP 3 or 4 months after. I was blissfully unaware that "it" could happen to me too. DS was born in October of 08. We started trying for #2 October of 2010. Got a BFP on NYE & started to m/c about a week or so after. Per the ultrasound, the baby was about 6 weeks when it stopped growing.
Now it's October again. Awesome. I feel a little defeated right now. I have seen so many people come & go off TTCAL since I started there in January. I must say that I feel a little dumb for being hopeful this past cycle.
Anyhooo, it's nice to see familiar faces around here. Hope you'll have me

Welcome! Making that first call to start testing is really hard-I was really emotional about it-but I'm so glad I did and so glad I didn't wait.

Thanks ladies!! All of the woman on these boards have helped me stay strong & Shmeell, you have honestly helped me so much through this decision to make the call. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I know I will be glad I did it. I am finally being proactive.
I had the weirdest dream last night that when I went in for blood work they told me I was pregnant (3 weeks 2 days to be exact, because all dreams have pregnancy dating right?) & that it was OK to be bleeding. WTF? LOL! Let the strange dreams begin!!! I think my mind has officially left me... at least while sleeping.

Welcome to the board - I hope your stay here is short.
I feel like with testing and working with an RE, it's always better to know what you are dealing with, if anything. If you don't know, you can't do anything to fix it - kwim? And hopefully, there will be nothing "majorly" wrong, but the RE can come up with a plan to try to get you successfully pregnant. Best of luck at you appt.

I am fairly new to this board, but I wanted to welcome you. I agree with the PP that making the phone call is a huge step. I hope it is the step that you need to get you your BFP and a sticky baby.
