Laundry question

So, I just washed a ton of stuff for the baby using all the non perfume/non dye detergent and then after the dryer, some stuff come out all pilly b/c I didnt use a fabric softener. Did that happen to anyone? I just had an idea, what about non perfume fabric softeners?

I use plain white vinegar in a Downy ball as fabric softener. I've been using it for our laundry for a long time and it works great!

We use the Free fabric softener sheets - those are fine for baby and leave the clothes soft.

thanks, I heard that one. How much vinegar do you use each time? I am sending my husband out after work for some, LOL.
