I was just thinking about this as I will be somewhere that another BOTB will be soon and they know what I look like.

With that said I would have to be 100% sure it was them and it would depend on who it was.

Someone saw me and recognized me years ago when I was beginning to research having kids with my first wife. The Bumpie chose not to say anything until afterwards on the board. I guess she didn't like me. I don't remember who it was though.

Actually, this has happened to me before last summer (not the one that just past). I ran into a reg from the multiples board. I was actually talking to her H while we were standing by a giant fan, under a tent at the 4H fair. I had no clue who he was. He started asking about the boys that were sitting on the stroller and he mentioned he had twins as well and pointed to his kids. I recognized them right away. So the reg comes over and we are small talking about twins. We don't talk back and forth on the board so she probably didn't really know who I was. I did tell her that, not to sound creepy, but I recognized her boys. She laughed and said it happens to her all the time. It wasn't awkward but it's not like we exchanged numbers or anything.

I work in a tourist trap and have seen more than one person that I recognize from the bump. The first person I recognized/had to interact with was a crazydramawoeisme chick from the 3T board. I never came clean to knowing who she was but I did treat her like the crazycakes she was known to be on the board. I felt bad for about a second for doing this but her biitchiness was stronger in person than what it came across on the boards.

I've never actually confessed to knowing the others either. Probably b/c I've lurked for way to long and it would be creepy to admit I know someone from reading TMI about them from a public website.

I would say hello if I was one hundred percent sure it actually was the person I thought it was. It would be extremely embarrassing to go up to a person thinking that they were a BOTBer only to find out they weren't.

I ran into a bumpie at Kohl's one time. I recognized her, but I wasn't 100%, so I didn't say anything. She did ask me several questions about babies and such because we were in the baby section. I PMed her later that night after I became 100% that it was her. She never replied. Now I can't think for the life of me what her name was on here. I remember she was a red head and was a musician in Nashville.

I saw someone irl a couple of years ago who was a reg on a knot board I used to lurk on. It freaking killed me not to stop and say something, but I figured it would freak her out, especially because she had no clue who I was. I thought about posting something later but I still felt way too creepy about it.
