Okay,
So all this time I have been pregnant, I have been thinking about how easy it will be because if we have a boy, we already have all of DS's clothes. It JUST hit me this week that DS was born in September, and the new baby will be born in March.
Is this totally messed up because they are born in different seasons? Will I not be able to use DS's clothes?
PS: we are in the South and summer is like, 5 months long.
Re: clothing question for Moms of 2 or more...
I'm having another boy and I just went through my son's old clothes last week and will hopefully get to use a lot of what I had. My son was a chunker and has a long waist and had super chunky thighs so he outgrew stuff fast. He was 6 months old wearing 12 month clothing in some brands, so I donated what I wasn't wild about or what I didn't like and I am keeping the rest. A lot of onesies, sleepers, etc. will work as well as jackets, etc. as he got older.
The first year stuff might be tricky but after that I don't anticipate much of an issue at all. My kids will be February (this baby) and June (my 3 yo son) so I plan on layering, etc. I hated long footed sleepers that button so I instead have a ton of little pants to layer with onesies that I already have, and might just get more long sleeve ones but otherwise I think I will be ok.
September vs. March is not too bad. I think you will be able to use most of the newborn and 0-3 months clothing.
This. I would break out all the clothes, use what you can and fill in where needed.
