  I say option 1, too, and DH thinks I'm nuts.  I know that #2 is correct but I have never, ever heard someone pronounce it that way.  I was thinking about changing and starting to say it correctly, so I don't sound like a moron.  But... is that kind of like pronouncing February correctly?  You're right but you still sound like a weirdo?
