I got the flu shot two on Saturday and I swear, I'm feeling ucky and exhausted because of it.
I'm trying to potty train DS, and he's POTTY trained but not poop trained. He is holding his poo in right now and has been for the last two hours. WHY oh WHY won't he freaking just sh!t on the doggone pot! I've tried bribing him, begging him, read him a pile of books as he whines to get off. I just cannot have two in diapers again.
I am behind in editing. I am a wedding photographer and a combination right now of just general lack of motivation along with the exhaustion from what I'm assuming was the flu shot is a horrible combination. All I want to do is curl up in bed and take a nap, not stare at a computer screen for the next five or six hours. I had planned on doing a big chunk of editing while DD was in preschool this morning but it was taken up by sitting on a hard stool in the bathroom trying to get DS to poop.
I am so excited and thrilled to feel #3 kicking, but lately she's been kicking me in the bladder. NOT fun. Plus, I'm getting a lot of RLP lately I think because I just seem to hurt.
Anyone else want to whine to help me not feel like such a baby? :-)
Re: Can I whine for a sec?
That flu shot kicked my butt this time too!!!!
As far a holding poop I have a little trick for you. My son did this as well so I kept him naked as much as I could and fed him apple juice until he just COULD NOT hold it anymore and He was afraid to poop on the floor so it forced him to go on the potty and then once he did he realized it wasn't a big deal.
Good luck!!
Maybe this will help....
When my husband and I were married he had a 3 year old son who was not potty trained. I assume it was from going back and forth from mom/dad's house. I mean this child refused to use a potty. After our son came home from the hospital and he saw me change one of his dirty diapers he thought it was gross and instantly started using the potty.
I did this with my niece and had the juice at room temperature (I just went out and bought juice boxes and didn't refridgerate them), and it also helps if your DS gets constipated. Raisins in the snack boxes will get him moving too. GL!

My DS's were scared of "falling in." Would not sit on the potty. I wound up buying one of those smaller seats for them. I put it on one time, set my oldest on it and had no problem. Took it off when he was done. After that when he needed to go, he would bring the seat to me or ask me to put it on the toilet. From what I am told they are eariser to put on now as some kids do it themselves.
BOL!!!
