Hello- I am looking for recommendations for strollers. It will be used
to walk around the neighborhood and to take when shopping, etc. It will
not be used for jogging. Thanks in advance!
We have the Baby Jogger City Mini. I love it! It manuevers really easily. I have no problem getting around stores in the mall. It collapses quickly and easily also.

I have always been a fan of Graco. We had one for our daughter and got one for our son. We have the Graco Pippin light weight stroller and infant seat as well. It is so easy to maneuver around and I am very happy with it.
The only con about it is the way it collapses. It's easy to collapse but the way it drops down the tray gets banged up because the tray hits the ground first. I need to make sure my hand is underneath to catch it before the tray hits the ground
We were just about to buy the City Mini, which has great reviews, however the sidewalks in our city neighborhood are pretty rough for strollers. We have a Snap N Go right now, and our daughter gets banged around by all the lumps and bumps in it. The City Mini tires are the same size as the SnG, so we figure the CM ride will be just as rough. So we are opting to get the City Elite instead, it has larger tires and is much more cushioned for walks around rough sidewalks. It is not a jogging stroller either, and it also has the easy fold-up that the City Mini has.

Definitely worth watching the demo video online so you see what it can do... we have twins and this was a must for us being able to hold 2 infant seats. BUT that being said I think it's an awesome single stroller as well and if you have #2 they can ride in it together since it can hold one seat and one infant seat also. Folds super easy and MUCH easier than double side by sides, tires are foam (can't go flat) and a good mid-sized tire that can handle some bumps and probably a crushed gravel path. I haven't taken it on mulch yet, but I think that might be too bumpy.
It steers very well and has a huge basket underneath for storage.
Love!

Same here! Also, our neighborhood sidewalks are pretty bad too, but DD will still fall asleep riding in the City Mini.
