Just a Happy Post

Despite being Monday.... :-) Kind of a random rambling...but.

I went to Nashville this past weekend for a blogging conference (I posted about my fear of flying a couple weeks back).  Well, obviously I survived :-), but it was my lucky weekend!  I got a great SWAG bag with tons of cool stuff, but I also won a 10 piece Calphalon pot and pan set that retails at $1,000! 

THEN, I go to check in at the airport and there is an option to upgrade to first class for way cheap...so I take it.  I get all settled in, and guess who is sitting in my row, Randy Travis! I about had a heart attack. He let me take a picture of him, and we chatted some before we all deplaned, he is SO down to earth and very nice!

THEN....today was my monthly appointment, doctor listened to babies heartbeat (which I had found at home, so I could help him find it super easy.  And we made our a/s appointment which seems like an eternity away, November 21st.  But at least I have a date set. 

OH..and ticker change Monday for me!

    My weekend... compared to that... was nothing!  I'm so glad you had such an awesome weekend though!  Sounds like so much fun!  And yeay peaches!

    I LOVE Randy Travis. He is not the best looking, but ohhhhh his voice. You should head to Vegas with all the luck coming your way.

    Now why didn't I think of Vegas?! Of course, I live 30 min from Shreveport, LA, so I could just drive over to the boats and put all my money on red and see what happens!  Lol.  I know, his voice is great...even just sitting there listening to him talk to his girlfriend the whole time was awesome. And chatting with him, it was kind of surreal who I was actually talking to!

    I had an awesome weekend as well.......cause I got to meet you!!  Hey Amber, it's Brooke from Baking with Basil!  :)  I started reading your post and then quickly looked at your name and realized who it was.  haha!  Your trip home sounds wonderful and how cool that you met Randy Travis!

     Yay! I was going to ask you when we were talking about everything if you were on here and in the birth month!  Lets for sure stay in touch through out!  And sorry if I was kind of awkward, I totally get social anxiety in large groups of people I dont know. Lol.

    LOL!!  You weren't awkward at all!  That place was so packed...I felt like a sardine.  We didn't stay much longer than you.  Needed to feed the babies more than finger food.  Would be great to stay in touch - still can't believe we are only a week apart.  Yay for sharing birth months!!

    Ok, that makes me feel better, haha. I always feel like I say random stuff!  It was a little packed for my liking really, I dont do large crowds very well to begin with!  Super crazy we are only a week apart!
