Freezing Finger Food

Can I make some fruits and veggies into finger food by chopping them into small chunks and freeze them for later like I do purees?  Then just pull some out when I want to give them to her?

  • I would think that would be fine.

  • Yep, I do this all the time now. The easiest thing is to make sure you freeze them separated on a baking sheet or tray first and then put them in a ziplock bag once they're individually frozen. If you just cut and put in the bag for freezing, you get one big clump but if you freeze first on a baking sheet you can take out a few pieces at a time. I learned the hard way with a ginormous frozen hunk of pumpkin chunks!
