I know it is suppose to happen but...

how come it is still shocking to put on a pair of pants and realize they are too tight!

I know I better get use to it. Until this morning all my pants fit fine so having difficulty buttoning my jeans this morning came as a shocker.  It was shocking, but still exicitng knowing that my jeans are suppose to be getting tighter :)

    Even though we know our bodies are going to change, it can still be hard when it happens. If it makes you feel any better I have been in maternity clothes for so long that I can barely remember wearing my regular clothes!

    It is a different phase of life, that's for sure. I just started wearing maternity pants this past week and it feels awesome. Don't fight it! Smile

    Ughh I've been walking around the last 3 days with my pants unbuttoned! I was trying to hold off on buying maternity clothes until Nov. 1st, but I don't know if I can wait another 3 weeks!

    My jeans stopped fitting (comfortably) a couple of weeks ago.  I got a few belly bands and I am loving them!

    I agree! Belly Bands are so Awesome! :) They make all my regular pants fit soo much better and much more comfortably!

    I know how you feel! I was sooo excited to start looking pregnant, but suddenly I've become self conscious of my little belly. Im def  not gonna fight it, its gonna happen anyway, might as well keep positive lol. Plus I'm VERY happy to be pregnant, I don't want my belly hiding to make people think I'm not proud :)

    LOL! My pants are getting tighter as well, I have one pair that's higher-waisted and they have been hopeless for awhile. I use a belly band when I wear them, which really helps. I also got a set of Oopsie Loopsies to help keep them buttoned. They are a bit heavier-duty than a hair elastic, I really like them. However, I did go out and buy some maternity jeans and tops yesterday as I was getting really sick of readjusting the belly band every time I pee. And I really like the tops, somehow they are just more flattering than a regular shirt. I kept startling myself yesterday when I would see myself in a window reflection, I definitely have a baby bump now and it seems that my mind just doesn't know it's there!

    I totally feel this way too!  The waist doesn't fit in any of my pants so I switched to maternity a few weeks ago.  For some reason I think the weight just redistributed from my legs to my belly.  I guess that's better than gaining everywhere so I'll take it.

    Its hard for me right now b/c I just look chubby, I wish I would just have a nice lil round belly or no belly!

    I've been in maternity since 12-13 weeks. Just give in- you'll be more comfortable!

    I thought it was weird how one week I was wearing a pair of my regular pants and the next week they didn't fit anymore (or were too tight to be comfortable).  Strange how it all of a sudden happens.  I agree that maternity pants are heavenly :)
