co-workers old wives tale

So I was sharing that lately my boss has been getting on my nerves with a co-worker, but that I knew it is from pg hormones, but they go on to tell me that whoever I hate during my pg, that the baby will look like.  Hello!  That one was weird I reminded them that the gene pool is between DH and myself.

    Well DH would definalty be a lil peeved about our baby looking like the african american lady at my office.  sorry about the racial insentivity, but both my hubby and I are white and it would definalty be a shock. Probably cause for divorce.

    I have never heard that one. A coworker told me today that my appetite has been going up so that means it's a boy?

    I've heard similiar to this only it's the trait that you hate your baby will have.  For example if you hate the way someone flips their hair when they talk and you associate with them then your baby will have this trait.  Take it for what it's worth...an old wives tale.

    Her: Let me see your eyes.

    Me: Um, why?

    Her: I just want to see something.

    **awkward silence as she stares into my eyes for 5 seconds**

    Her: You are having a girl.

    Me: Um, oookkk?
