How did YOU announce on FB?

I am thinking of making it FB official this weekend. If all goes as planned then we should know Saturday if Baby A is a girl or boy.

We waited until the day we hit 12 weeks which also happened to be our anniversary. Our last name starts with Mac so our announcement on FB was "Two years ago, Matthew Mac____ and I were married. This year, we gave each other the greatest present of all- we are expecting a Little Mac in April! "

Love it! I totally wanted to do this!

But, ours was pretty basic. I posted the 12-week u/s pic and captioned it "Excited to announce... Baby_j_may is due April 13th!"

It was such a fun day watching the responses roll in

I haven't yet. I'm either going to keep it subtle and change my profile pic to one of DD and I (with her in her Big Sister shirt) or wait until the a/s and post "It's a boy/girl" and see people freak out lol. I really am leaning towards waiting, if they do the scan at 18 weeks again it's less than a month from now.

When I announced we are pregnant, I kept it simple and said "Our family is getting bigger and so is my belly." I don't know the sex yet so I'm not sure how I'm gonna announce that.

I put up a picture of a cinnamon bun baking in an oven and said "9 weeks ago DH's Name and I found out our lives were never going to be the same. We're expecting! Arrival will be April 2012!!"

A lot of my FB friends are theatre people. So mine said something to the effect of: "As much as I love the cast of Macbeth(show I'm currently volunteering on), stage managing while pregnant has not been fun. So this will be my last show for while so that [DH name] and I can work on our own little production".
