I need a stroller for this LO. We are having to purchase ALL new baby items for this child b/c everything from my last child (almost 5) is recalled, expired, or a crappy family member destroyed. That being said we are on a tight budget.
I'm only 4ft10in so I can't do the big strollers. I also drive a corolla so I can't fit something to big in the trunk. While I love the city mini I don't think we can swing that price +the car seat adaptor (even with the sale).
I don't jog so I don't need a jogger. And this is my last child so no need to add on any seats. Does anyone have a suggestion?
Re: stroller recs for a Mama on a budget
Maybe you could get a snap and go if you need it for the tiny baby stage, and then get one like this. It only has a few reviews so far, but they are all really positive. One of the reviewers said because of the 5 point harness they were able to put a younger baby in here than most umbrella strollers. There are other colors available too...a black/red and pink/red.

I registered for a bumbleride because I like to walk a lot, but will probably leave it in the garage most of the time. I registered for this one as my second stroller to put in the car and take to the store, mall, etc.
After 2+ years and multiple treatment cycles,
including an IVF vacation in Costa Rica/Panama,
IVF #2 brought us our miracle baby!
Surprise! Baby Boy is on the way!
That may be an option thanks!
Snap and go (and the Graco model) are about $75 - 100 at stores and I've been finding them for less than $50 on Craig's List. We test drove them at BRU today with the car seat we plan on getting and it seems pretty sturdy. We'll probably use that for the first 6 months or so, then get an umbrella once we have a better idea of what will work for me, DH, and baby.
But definitely check out CL for the Snap and Go, they're so simple that it's hard for anything to go wrong on those!
Wow. I guess they have gone up. They were $50 three years ago when we bought ours.
FWIW, that thing lasts. I used it for 8 months and now my good friend is using it, and then I plan to use it with my second baby. Even at $75 that is well worth the money.
