I am trying to get some last minute baby items. I have 2 questions for you ladies:
1. What do you guys think about humidifiers? Does it really help them to breath easier? Worth the purchase?
2. Jumperoo Vs. Exersaucer? I don't know if I should choose one or both.
What do you ladies think?? Thank you!! :-)
Re: Questions from a Third Trimester :-)
Humidifier is a must for when they have a stuffy nose.
I can't help with the jumperoo vs exersaucer cause we don't have either.
Same as pp said about the humidifier. If they go to daycare they are going to come down with a bunch of colds/illnesses.
I would say exersaucer over a jumperoo..I think it keeps them more entertained, but just my .02
BFP #2: 7/23/14 - MC: 8/28/14
BFP #3: 2/22/15 - MC: 3/3/15
BFP #4: 5/20/15 - Stick baby stick!!!
Humidifier works great when they have a cold. I wouldn't use it everyday....it makes the room smell really musty
We have both a jumperoo and excersaucer and both kids have liked the jumperoo more. We have the rainforest jumperoo and it has stuff hanging above them, music, lights, they can jump, lots of things to "eat."
The excersauser is just another "station" of toys. We even bought one with a bounce pad and they still got bored. Both kids have gotten bored after 5 min but they would last forever in the jumperoo (obviously don't keep them in it for too long).
Here is the thing with a humidifier, when you need it you need it then. We have a humidifier and haven't used it yet but I am still glad we bought it. LO will come down with a cold eventually and I am going to be busy enough taking care of her that I am not going to want to run out and buy a humidifier when she is sick.
I recommend the jumperoo. As pp mentioned it has tons of toys like the excersaucer but also has the jumping ability. My DD loves her.
1. We'll use a humidifier overnight here in the winter. The air gets so dry that bleeding noses are a problem.
2. We went with a jumperoo and definitely don't have room for both.

1) I registered for the humidifier and got it thank goodness! LO was sick this past week with allergies and it helped a ton! It is really worth getting it.
2) We have both, although the exersaucer stays at my moms house, he loves both. The only thing is that the jumperoo he can jump in and the exersaucer he cannot. LO loves the jumping. We have the Fisher Price Luv U zoo jumperoo and the brightstars exersaucer. Oh, and he loves the music and noise on the jumperoo, the exersaucer didn't have the music.
Same here. My skin always gets dry and cracked in the winter here in Indiana no matter how much lotion I put on, and I never ONCE got dry skin when I lived out in CA. I'm hoping a humidifier will help prevent dry baby skin!
I don't know about the humidifier, as we haven't used ours yet (gifted to us).
Evan LOVES his jumperoo though.
This word for word. Even if you get a jumperoo without many toys, make sure to get one with the loops where you can add some. We have the baby einstein jumperoo and it had a lot, but we still added a couple things.
No humidifier here.
My guy LOVES the jumperoo!!!

Humidifiers - I haven't had to use one, although we have one. I know my cousin had one and used it every night. I would assume its best to invest in one. It will help when the baby is older, too.
Jumperoo vs. Exersaucer - We have an exersaucer and LO has been in it twice and he's 5 months old (almost 6)!! I would recommend it because I assume once the baby is older, it will be more interesting for him. I think their a good investment, just not right away. I don't have an opinion towards a jumperoo, since we don't have one.
