We start at 9 every night. She gets a bath, lotion and pjs on, then nurses. After that I put her down in her swing (where she sleeps), give her a paci, and turn on the sleep sheep. She is out in minutes. The whole routine usually takes an hour to an hour and a half, so she's asleep by 10:30. She sleeps until 4 every morning, nurses and is back to sleep till 7/8.

she usually falls asleep while I am burping her and I let her snuggle for 10 min and then swaddle her and put her in her RnP.
She has been sleeping 5 1/2-6 hrs from whenever she falls asleep, wakes to eat and then goes back down for another 3 1/2-4 hrs, wakes for the day and to eat, and then takes her first nap about an hour after waking for 2 hrs. However, she just started STTN (has only done it twice this week, so we hope this is her new schedule) and will wake any time around 5:00 or 5:30 a.m. to eat, falls back asleep until 7:30ish gets up and eats and then lays down for her first nap.
About 8:30- rock in chair for a few minutes, until drowsy but awake. Swaddle lightly, give paci...rock for a couple more minutes in arms. Set down- drowsy, but awake- asleep in minutes. I wait for the paci to fall out and move it away from her face.
LO occasionally needs to do this twice. Often times shes either still hungry (we have a diffucult feeder) or just not ready to sleep yet. I give her 5 more minutes rocking or walking around the room. I ALWAYS put her down drowsy but awake. Thats the key...
Asleep 9pm - 5am or a bit later. The more she eats during the day, the longer we get.

Is it ok for the baby to sleep in the swing? I find that is where my lil man sleeps the most but I am always scared to leave him in there if I fall asleep. Also, do you strap baby in? I need some advice on sleep schedule also. My little man sleeps on and off all night long (usually at 2hrs per session) and I am dying for some sleep past 2hrs. I start getting him ready for bed at around 830pm but he never ends up sleeping until 12am. Its frustrating!!

We start about 8ish. Sometimes bath. Sometimes not. Always pjs and a diaper change. Then she watches me make dinner from her swing or bouncer..unwind time. Then it's a bottle and she usually falls asleep during that so in the crib she goes.
She sleeps all night. That's a luck of the draw thing though. She's always been that way after the first week.

For what it's worth, my lo was around 9 weeks when she started going longer than two hours, so it will get better! It may just take longer than you want. We put the swing in our bedroom, and she sleeps in it all night. I don't buckle her in, if it's cold I put a small blanket over her (from waist down) and tuck the ends tightly under her. IMO let the baby sleep where ever they sleep best. They are too young to be forming bad behaviors. Eventually, I will have to move her to her crib, but I don't plan on doing it anytime soon, lol.

We had been doing bedtime at 9:30, but last night I moved it up to 9:15 and will do that for a little while before I move it up to 9pm. I take DS to his room, turn on lamp, sound machine with projection, baby monitor (just so I don't forget and have to go back into his room). I change his diaper, put on pjs, attach his snuza, swaddle in the miracle blanket. Then I turn off his lamp and nurse in his rocking chair. He usually eats 10-15 mins depending on when he last ate. Put him into his crib (he usually falls asleep nursing) and wait a min. or two to make sure he isn't going to wake back up....then sneak out of his room.
He usually sleeps 9-10 hours. He's only been sleeping this long for 4-5 days. Last week during a growth spurt he was up every 3 hours and prior to that week he was sleeping 5-8 hours.
We start at 9:30. Daddy gives her a bath, dries her, lotions her, and clothes her. He then passes her to me and I rock her while feeding her. When feeding her, I have the lights off and we watch the projector images of the cow jumping over the moon a million freaking times and listen to the ocean on our little sound machine/projector thingy (I'm sure there is a better term for it but I am at a loss right now lol). When she falls asleep I try to burp her, then lay her in her crib. She's usually out by 10:15-10:30. She usually sleeps until about 3-3:30 then until about 7 and again until about 9.
We start around 7pm. I give LO a bath using Johnson and Johnson's bedtime bath. I keep the lights very dim during bath time (think candlelight astmosphere), and I don't talk to him. Daytime baths are for playing. Nighttime baths are for unwinding. After the bath, we go into the nursery. The only light on in the room is our large aquarium. I massage him with J & J bedtime bath lotion. New diaper, jammies, swaddle. No talking during any of this. I then nurse him in the glider. If he is still seems too awake after nursing, we just rock and watch the fish in the aquarium. When he is very very drowsy, I put him him the crib with his ocean sounds white noise. Sometimes he takes the pacifier, but usually he isn't interested. He will sleep for 5-6 hours. Then the rest of the night is a disaster. He goes to bed so easily with the bedtime routine that i wish I could start the whole thing over at 2am to get another 5 hours of sleep.
we just started a routine: starting about 8:30-9ish: bath(J&J bedtime bath/lotion),lotion, new diaper, pj's. Then nursery, rock him, bottle, sometimes a very short bedtime story(before bottle) then into crib. He is starting to sleep from the time we put him down til about 2am, up to eat, then back down til 5-6am.
Re: bedtime routine
Our bedtime routine starts at 6:30 p.m.
6:30 first cluster feed, usually 3ish oz
7:30 second cluster feed, usually 2ish oz
8:00 bath, lotion, and jamas on
8:30 third cluster feed, usually 1-2 oz

7:00-7:30-ish Bath with daddy

ours is the 3 B's - Bath, Boob and Bed!!
8:30 - bath , then lotion and changed into her sleeper
9:00 - feed until she passes out and then move her to the playpen in our room where she will sleep for 8-9hours.
Sometimes she will feed and pass out and only sleep for 15 minutes then feed again and when she passes out the 2nd time --she's down for the night.
Occasionally we put her in the swing or bouncy seat to put her to sleep. But for the most part she does it on her own.
Bath at 7pm
Jammies then we sit on the couch for about 10 minutes
Start feeding at 730pm
In crib by 8pm
Sleep til 6am
This is the schedule even on the weekends. I'm working full time and raising her alone while my hubby is deployed.
