Anyone know of any good fall hay rides/pumpkin patch places? I live in the South Metro and would love to take our LO to do some fun fall outside activities!
We go to Sever's Corn Maze every year and LOVE it. They have so much to do, you can spend the whole day there. A huge corn pool. hay rides, the corn maze, giant slide, petting zoo, pony and camel rides, pig races, a hay maze for the kids, pumpkin and corn slingers. It's a little spendy to get in, but nearly everything is free once you are in, and you definitely get your monies worth. I highly recommend it.
We checked out a couple this past weekend, in the west Metro (I don't know if it will be too far for you.). We did apple picking (hayrides to the orchards) at Deardorff Orchards and we got pumpkins at Dimler Pumpkin Patch. I found this website helpful - https://www.pumpkinpatchesandmore.org/MNpminn.php#listings
We go to McDougall's Apple Junction in Hastings. They have a hay ride, pumpkin patch and apple orchard. They also have some little fun areas and a petting zoo for kids.

We went to Afton Apple on Sunday with some friends. They have apples to pick, pumpkin patches, a hayride to bring you around, and a huge playground for the kids. We had a ton of fun!
We have gone to Pine Tree in White Bear Lake, Apple Jacks in Delano and Country Sun Farms off 36 near Stillwater. They all have wagon rides/hay rides, lots of photo ops and family friendly.
Afton Apple, Pine Tree Apple Orchard both are good from what I've heard (from the owners LOL - I'm not all into going to the orchards or pumpkin patches... If you don't mind a bit of a hike - Pleasent Valley over in Wisconsin is a good place to go and is more geared toward the smaller kiddos. They have a corn maze, but it's SMALL which is nice if you don't want to do a lot of walking or get too lost for that matter. Then they have hay rides around the tree farm part of things, a big ole playground for kids and a pumpkin patch... They're where we usually go for our Christmas tree..
