I'll start off by saying, I LOVE CHRISTMAS! 
Now that I have a child, it's even more fun! Ella's been really into Santa for the past 2 months, I have no clue how, but she must have seen a Santa somewhere, which makes me think this holiday season will be really fun. Anyway, I was browsing online thinking about Christmas gifts, so I thought I'd start a poll.

When do you start Christmas shopping? Dec. 26. Well ... I buy wrap and small things that I put away. I seriously started in August when Borders had its closing sale.
Do you make any of the gifts yourself? I bake. And then I eat. And then I wrap so I avoid eating more.
Will you have your LO/s make any gifts this year? We are going to do messy masterpieces for Daddy and Grammy.
When do you put your tree up? We go cut one down the weekend after Thanksgiving.
Will you get your LO/s a special holiday outfit? Already have it. Janie and Jack sale in January, woot woot.
Will LO/s go sit on Santa's lap? Yes, always at the Tacoma Nordstrom.
Favorite Christmas dessert/treat? NOG NOG NOG NOG NOG.
When do you start Christmas shopping? Does last year count, I have acouple things i never gave the boys still stashed.
Do you make any of the gifts yourself? Usually food gifts for friends/family, last year we did for M's teachers also.
Will you have your LO/s make any gifts this year? M will help me with food gifts.
When do you put your tree up? Usually 1 or 2nd weekend of December.
Will you get your LO/s a special holiday outfit? holiday jammies for Santa pics.
Will LO/s go sit on Santa's lap? yup, might be interesting with W this year.
Favorite Christmas dessert/treat? peppermint ice cream, peppermint joe joe cheesecake.
Do you make any of the gifts yourself? I will probably make the kiddos matching blankets this year. If it'll save me money, I'll make all of my IL's their gifts :-P ... I might bake something, but I don't know.
Will you have your LO/s make any gifts this year? We did foam photo ornaments when she was one and last year, she made everyone bookmarks. This year, I think we'll probably do a messy masterpiece or something I find on Pinterest.When do you put your tree up? I prefer the first weekend in December, but it depends on DH and his work schedule.
Will you get your LO/s a special holiday outfit? Yes! They will get Christmas outfits for photos and Christmas Day and then coordinating Christmas Jammies. Maybe T-Shirts for Christmas Eve. :-) I'm all about special outfits, lol. Will LO/s go sit on Santa's lap? Maybe. We haven't put a huge emphasis on it, mostly because I don't want to pay for the pictures when I can take it myself, but with the two, I might think about it.
Favorite Christmas dessert/treat? DH's aunt makes this Cool Whip & Jello pie that I really like. Other than that, I just love whatever baked goods people give me :-P

When do you start Christmas shopping? I start with the back-to school deals, and stock up on art supplies to stuff into the kids' stockings. I try to have my shopping for the kids done before Thanksgiving.
Do you make any of the gifts yourself? I bake and can for food gifts.
Will you have your LO/s make any gifts this year? Yes, messy masterpieces for the grandparents.
When do you put your tree up? Day after Thanksgiving.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Christmas too. And am really excited to be going to NC to spend it with my parents this year.
When do you start Christmas shopping? I try to start in October, but don't usually get much until after Thanksgiving

When do you put your tree up? No tree this year because we're going to my parents' house, but they'll have one up already long before we get there (12/20)

When do you start Christmas shopping? Usually I've already started by now. I'm so behind! I like to pick things up as I find them on sale or if they are *perfect* for someone.
Do you make any of the gifts yourself? Often I do, but it's not something I aim for every year (I try to be flexible with myself and give gifts that people will love).
Will you have your LO/s make any gifts this year? I don't know. We'll see how ambitious I am.
When do you put your tree up? Soon after Thanksgiving, we meet up with my brother and SIL to go cut down a tree. It really depends on how our schedules match up.
Will you get your LO/s a special holiday outfit? I'm planning on sewing her a fancy Christmas dress. Anyone want to help me find fabric?
Will LO/s go sit on Santa's lap? (cringes and braces for the hate) We're not Santa people, so probably not. If MIL wants to take her for it, then fine.
Favorite Christmas dessert/treat? my mom's pinwheel cookies and gingerbread folk (hey - they're not just men anymore)
When do you start Christmas shopping? I've slacked in the past few years..I uded to be done before halloween. Now typically, I'll start mid November. Depends... usually on when any bonus comes.
Do you make any of the gifts yourself? Not usually..neighbors and customers get baskets filled with work goodies. That's as homemade as it gets.
Will you have your LO/s make any gifts this year? Maybe a craft for Grandma, but not sure

Will you get your LO/s a special holiday outfit? YEP! (although Audrey's fits the same way....I always like new outfits..but I love last years..Would it be weird to have the same outfit on 2 years in a row in photos in the years to come?
Will LO/s go sit on Santa's lap? Yes! Last years screaming one was CLASSIC! We go to the Everett Mall Santa the weekend after Thanksgiving. They have a coupon on their website or on FB for a free 5x7. LOVE not having to spend $30 on Santa pics! (it's that weekend only)

When do you start Christmas shopping? Usually after Halloween, but if I see a good deal I pick it up. Our families exchange lists on Thanksgiving though.
Do you make any of the gifts yourself? Sometimes. The last couple years I've made "reindeer munch" out of popcorn, pretzels, white chocolate and some other goodies. I put them in cute little containers and everybody gets one as a bonus gift.

Max has been really into Christmas too. Going to Costco yesterday was so fun because they have all the decorations out. He squealed, "Christ-ta-miss tree, mama. Christ-ta-miss tree. Santa. Snowmans," as soon as we walked in the entrance. I can't wait for Christmas this year!!
When do you start Christmas shopping? Usually in November. I have already started scoping things out and bookmarking presents for this year!
Do you make any of the gifts yourself? I usually make photo albums for grandparents, and a few years ago I made all the gifts. I think I am going to join suit with my SIL and make a lot of gifts this year, but I need to figure out what.

Will you get your LO/s a special holiday outfit? It's tradition for us (being our 3rd Christmas as family of three) to get him a Christmas outfit and pajamas to open on Christmas Eve.
Will LO/s go sit on Santa's lap? Yes. Our first year, we did Alderwood Mall Santa and Santa Train Santa, last year we only did Santa Train. This year, I want to do both again.
Favorite Christmas dessert/treat? My mom makes the best homemade Almond Roca and Fudge. I also love the orange cinnamon roll that she makes, and had made every year since I can remember.
The only Easter Bunny I can get behind.

When do you start Christmas shopping? I started at the Target toy sale in July. Last year I was due 11 days before Christmas so I had all my shopping done early. I am trying to do the same this year.

Will LO/s go sit on Santa's lap? Absolutely! It was a tradition that my parents had and even though my sister and I complained at times we loved it as well. We took Santa pictures until we were 27 & 30, our last picture was the year we got married and our husbands were good sports and came with us.

Do you make any of the gifts yourself? Sometimes - one year I made a pancake mix in a bottle and gave it with a grocery store gift card and some of our butchers bacon. My goal was to make a cloth rattle for P, but I'm not sure about that yet.

When do you start Christmas shopping? already started. Usually Sept/Oct
Do you make any of the gifts yourself? Sometimes I'll attempt a craft to give to extended family/coworkers. Or something special - like I made my daughter some new bedding this year.
Will you have your LO/s make any gifts this year? I might have her do a hand imprint craft for grandparents.

Will you get your LO/s a special holiday outfit? Yes. But not the traditional red velvet stuff. I think it's a bit tacky, just NMS. I always do Christmas PJ"s (for me & DH too) and then she'll wear a cute outfit, not necessarily red & green, for visiting family
Will LO/s go sit on Santa's lap? Yes. We do the WAC santa brunch. I wouldn't go do the mall line thing. I think that's a bit odd/not what it's about.
