Drooling at 2 months old?

I noticed Lydia drooling tons and tons today. When I say tons, I mean enough to soak her shirt. Her brother started teething at 2.5 months old, so I am wondering if this is the beginning of that, or if maybe it's the norm for 2 month olds to start drooling like crazy around this age. 

Is your 2 month old a constant drooler, too?

    Our LO is also drooling like a mad man -- but he also chews on his hands a LOT which seems to produce a lot of drool!

    Yep. She is a drool monster now and we have lots of outfit changes lol.

    Hmmm...maybe it isn't teething then. I wouldn't know since her brother was such an early teether.

    Off to buy more bibs, I guess! lol

    I was going to post a question about drool - I swear every time I go to post something, someone has just beaten me to it :)

    DS will be 6 weeks on Monday and he's just started drooling (little bits, not lots) in the last couple of days. From what you ladies are saying, I guess I need to dig out my bibs if it's going to get worse in a few weeks!

    At his last pedi visit (1 month) he had already started drooling tons so I asked. she asked me if me or SO were early teethers, and if so, he could be starting to teethe. Turns out I had a couple full teeth at 3 months. So it could very well be teething.

    My son never drooled. Even with teething. My daughter on the other hand... Well, she is probably the drooliest baby I've ever seen. She started like crazy at about 8 weeks old and she soaks her shirts throughout the day. I change her about 3X a day! I don't think she's teething though... Seems way early for that.
