Hi DC Board! I am back after a heck of 2 weeks (moving out, flying, moving in with family and all that comes with moving.) We are in Chicago searching for a rental home for about a year while we figure out the area. Basically I am writing to let you know that I am sticking around for awhile-- the Chicago board is crazy slow and not nearly as helpful as this one!

On the plus side, my peanut is adjusting beautifully. She never lost a step with her naps, sleeping or eating. I am so proud. Now if we could just skip the twos, I think we would be in heaven. Big Smile

    Hope that you're feeling as settled as possible, given the circumstances, and that house-hunting goes quickly and smoothly.  Yay for your DD "cooperating" (even though she has no idea she is).

    I've stuck around the DC Knot/Nest/Bump boards despite stints in Florida and Massachusetts.  They have consistently been helpful, active, drama-free places.  And still recognizing some people from wedding planning in 2004 and 2005 makes me feel at home - and also pretty old.

    Wow, a move is so stressful - that's great that it went so well!!!!
