Just Between Friends sale

Anyone gone to any of these around here? A friend of mine mentioned she is going to one tonight (she lives in a different state) and said last year she bought a ton of great stuff for very little $. The one in Lynnwood is this weekend.

Re: Just Between Friends sale

  • I've been to one, I know a lot of ladies on here go to them. You can get some great deals, esp on gear. The one I went to was kind of disappointing in the clothes section (I had a lot better luck at the Bumps and Babies Fair) but I think its worth going!

  • I went to one last year and was no impressed. I felt that things were over $$ and very worn looking

  • I'm planning on going to the Tacoma sale at the Puyallup Fairgrounds the weekend of the 21st.  I've never been to one and the Tacoma group offers free admission to first time parents and military parents (you must sign up through their website) and the chance  to shop on Friday before the rest of the public.

I'm mainly looking for gear (swing, pack and play, high chair) and maybe some maternity clothes.  I'm not going to have much money so whatever I find it's going to have to be something I really want at a good price.

There's also a consignment sale going on at the Thurston county fairgrounds this weekend.  (It's not a JBF sale)

  • I've been to lots of JBF sales and I find great stuff because I shop EARLY!  When I can volunteer at the sale, I get to shop the night before the public - that's where all the best stuff is.  Even when I shop during the public shopping times though, I can find great stuff - especially at half price the last day of the sale.  If you're one to shop consignment, you'll be pleased.  If you're looking for brand new stuff that you'd find in a retail store - then you're in the wrong place.  Happy shopping and saving!
  • I went to 1 with my best friend last year and it was bad. Smelled funny and the clothing were gross. I saw a few toys I would never give a dog let alone a small child. I say save money and go to value village. Not to sound mean I just dont want you to waste any time

  • I've been a couple and it's hit and miss.  Let me tell you to not go to the Monroe one because it's new and they hardly have anything!
