recs for baby socks

Anyone found socks that stay on without being too tight around the ankles? I hate all the ones we currently own and DD is growing out of them anyway. With the cooler weather I need to get something but not sure what.

Re: recs for baby socks

  • I always buy Old Navy socks, but I never bought the infant ones. E basically lived in footed sleepers as an infant. When she wasn't in a sleeper, she screamed when I put socks on her so I left them off.

  • I like Gymboree socks the best, they fit well and they have the sticky stuff on the bottom so they don't slide around.

  • For baby socks, I swear by Trumpette! Best socks ever. They wash well, fit great and are no skid.

Once H grew out of those I switched over to the Old Navy socks or the Children's Place socks....much much cheaper and still good fit and wash well. I just bought some from target and although I like that they are thinner than the other brands (fit well in all shoes)...they do seem a bit snug, we'll see!

  • We loved b.ella brand socks.  They're spendy though (and I think they might have them on zulily or one of those websites at a discount at the moment).
  • Thanks for the recommendations. I'll check them out.
