DH's hours cut- baby on the way- awesome!

Oy, I'm just stressed. We have an unexpected baby coming, I had an abnormal pap at our first OB appt and I have to go get some sort of scoping done next week, and we just found out that DH's hours will be cut by 20% so therefore, so will his pay. He's a professional laser engineer not something more univeral or he could just go find another job if he could but he's very specialized so we'll just have to suck it up. We are already at the break even point financiall and we just bought a house 2 months ago.

So, just stressed and venting.

I'm so sorry! I know exactly how you feel. Dh lost his job about a month ago and we just bought a house too. And have two kids. It sucks! I dont know what your income is like but you should check out the WIC program for food! We used to for a while and now I need to get back on it until dh gets a job, but it really helped us get by! Good luck and so sorry

So sorry to hear this - hopefully things will start to get better for you quickly. If it helps at all, two of my friends had abnormal paps early in their pregnancies and everything was fine.

Stress, stress and more stress - gee whiz! We had a financial crisis last month and it's all a bit of a fog now, so I know how much it can suck. I'm so sorry you're going through this, especially when you're supposed to be focusing on your little one. What area are you in? There's a place in Everett that teaches classes for free. I'm sure you still remember it all since you have a two-year-old, but you get baby bucks for each class you attend and you can spend them at the boutique...baby clothes, some maternity, some gear. So if you need to go free, that would be a good place to start.
