When is your next ultrasound?

I was just curious when your next ultrasound is? My last was my a/s 6 weeks ago. Has your doctor said when your next will be... my doctor didn't say.

Unless something comes up my a/s was my last one...I had an early u/s and a the 20th week one with both of my pregnancies and that is it.

Ditto. I guess if I go to 41 weeks they'll do another ultrasound to make sure baby's okay in there.

I had to have a level II u/s instead of the regular a/s at 20 weeks because of an abnormal quad screen, so now they're going to do a 12 week follow up scan. They want to make sure there is no longer an echogenic bowel or choroid plexus cysts.

I will possibly have another one in 3 or 4 weeks. My a/s report listed the baby's kidneys as "borderline". My doctor has been having difficulty getting additional information from the hospital about what "borderline" means. So, I'm kind of hoping that I get that one just to make sure all is well in there and to ease my mind...even though I was told not to worry. Yeah right! Do they know they are talking to a pregnant woman?

October 24th, 4w from my last one. I get cervix checks b/c of premature shortening and dilation with my first two kids.

My next one is on Monday. I get more u/s than usual because of some medication that I am on.

I have another one scheduled in 2 weeks to check to see if the choroid plexus cysts are gone and to see if my placenta has moved up. If it weren't for those issues, we wouldn't have another one at all. I feel like I've had a ton of ultrasounds - my doc's office normally does 2 total; the one in 2 weeks will be my 6th. I hope it's my last.

I won't have another unless something goes wrong later in the pregnancy. The a/s is generally the last for most pregnancies.

I will be having another at 32 weeks, and it is a 3d US.

So far I've had one at 5 weeks, 9 weeks, and 17 weeks 4 days. I am not high risk and have had no pregnancy complications.

My last was 4ish weeks ago, for the anatomy scan. Placenta previa was detected on that u/s, so I'm going in for my next (to monitor the previa) on Monday afternoon. If it's cleared up, then that will be my last (unless baby doesn't flip head down, or I go overdue). If the previa is still a concern, then I'll go again around 28 weeks for another. I had one early dating u/s prior to the anatomy scan.

W/ DS, I had the NT scan and the anatomy scan. DH and I then elected to go to a private place for a 3d u/s at 29 weeks.

I may or may not have another one. I had one on Monday to check on the baby's heart. They haven't gotten clear pictures in my scans, so I may have to go in for one more to see them.

36 weeks to measure for growth, but i think i want to have one done later this month when i have family and friends here for my baby shower. we have had 4 total because our little guy was not moving for 48 hours to confirm he was ok, and now i just can't help but want to check again.

I was told at the beginning of the pregnancy that I will only get two...one at eight weeks and one at twenty weeks. At my last appointment, however, my doctor told me that if baby continues to measure larger than expected we will get another at 36 weeks to verify size/weight. We're also going in for a 4D at some point.

i have my next one on the 13th. i have had them 10 wk, 14 wks, 21 wks and then it will be 24 wks on my next one. but baby is also at risk for cleft lip and palet (sp?) so thats why i have this one coming up. not sure if this is the last one though.

I will have one in 3rd trimester (date has not yet been decided) to check on baby's heart. At my A/S they noticed an echogenic intracardiac focus which is a semi-normal occurrence (3-5%) in 2nd trimester. My midwives just want to check it out and see if it is still there, since sometimes they go away.

I have one on Monday with my GD test. Not sure when again after that but I am sure I will have another one to check growth.

Unless there are complications, I won't be having another one ordered by the doc. We are planning to do an elective 3D scan in the next few weeks though.

I will have one a month until delivery because they are concerned about growth issues. She is a perfect size now, but because of other factors they are worried she is going to end up "to small". I frankly think it's over kill, and I really with our A/S would have been our last.

Let me just preface this post with the fact that I have had more u/s than normal because of my 2nd tri spotting and placenta previa.

- I have had a total of 6 u/s so far and I know that I will have atleast one more at 30 weeks with my preinatologist to double check growth and position. I might even have another one after that, depending on what they find at my next one. The good news is, baby Caroline is developing right on schedule and none of the extra u/s have found anything concerning, despite the complications I was having early on.

At 32 weeks, but I'm high risk. I had one at 5 wks (to check for fetal pole), 9 wks (standard "1st appt u/s and to see HB), 20 wks (Level II), 21 wks (for amnio) and the last will be at 32 wks unless they see anything they don't like, in which case they'll order another but I don't know how far out from that one it would be.

I am having one on Tuesday but only becaue we elected to pay out of pocket and go have the 3D/4D u/s done. My doctor did mention the possibility of having a growth scan later on if I continue measuring ahead. (I measured 2 weeks ahead at my appointment this week).

My next one is Oct. 17th and hopefully I won't need another one! Like some of the other posters, I have marginal placenta previa and LO has a choroid plexus cyst. They are hoping that the cyst will be gone and my placenta will have moved up when they do this next scan! I hope so too!

My previous OB office normally does a 6, 18/20, 32 week one, but I am hi risk so I have had one at 6, 18, 21, 24 and have my next one at 28. It just depends on the office and what is going on with you and/or baby.
