I'm just going to vent... I just got the email link for Santa Phipps and the times/days left STINK, I MEAN STINK!

Oh well, this will probably be the year my kid screams, so should make it more run right??!!

That sucks - I still haven't gotten an email so I guess my new family tradition will come to an end. We are probably going to go another route this year.

Were there any weekend slots left or no?

No, there are no weekend appointments left. Everything except Thanksgiving weekend was already booked when I booked a couple of weeks ago. I just looked again and basically the only thing left is Tues-Thurs the first 3 weeks of November or Tues-Thurs the second 2 weeks of December. Times on those days vary but there are still a few evening appointments, which is what we're going to end up doing.

Jennifer is correct, only T-Thur for 2 weeks in Nov and Dec. We went with the Dec date since MJD will be right at 18 months. I figured it was logicial.. I told DH about the crappy dates and he responds saying "We'll take him to the Milledgeville Mall". That's where is parents live and I thought you know it will probably end up being more fun in the small town mall than the big fancy-shmancy one We'll do both. Stupid.popular.money-making.Santa!

I just got my email! HA! There are like 5 time slots left! Oh well, Phipps Santa, it was fun while it lasted. I think we will go back to the masses at another mall.

I just got the email and there is only 3 weeks of Tuesday-Thursday and 1 Friday left in November. All of December is showing booked. I hope this Santa is worth it!

I hope they loose business over this load of crap. Really, I do. I just got my appointment email a few hours ago. This is after I complained over two weeks ago and never got even a courtesy response. This business is purely out to make money. They don't care about their customers. In a tough economy, one would think they might give a damn.

Got mine at 3:02 today and the only time slots left were the week of nov. 8th and 15th Tues-Thurs. in the mornings. Nothing in December and nothing evenings. I'm lucky we are free Tues. mornings (at least at the moment). I was able to get a 10:45 which should work. Still, think the whole thing stinks. They are not even listing prices on their website for just pictures. I did it two years ago and it sucked, then we did b.Braithwaithe last year and although it was nice, it wasn't worth the money because when we got there, we still had to wait for 20min. and there were lots of kids in front of us and they screamed so Juliette did too after watching them. Have to say though, the pictures of her screaming were awesome. I'd rather she be happy though. So I thought I'd give Phipps a try again. If he sucks. then we are done wtih Santa.

I think we are going to do Bass Pro shop this year. We did it Lane's first year and I really liked their backdrop. We did our local Dillard's last year and the backdrop was butt ugly.

I'm all for great Santa pics (especially screaming baby ones), but I don't get the Phipps hype. Keep looking. I bet you can find one somewhere that is pretty decent.
