So my doctor told me that I needed to wait one cycle after my D&C before TTC. Anyway, after my D&C I have had almost no bleeding at all.  I'm trying to get my FF chart started and I have a few questions.

1) Since I'm starting CD1 on the day of my D&C procedure (Friday) do I count the few days I had to use a pantiliner as light bleeding so it will count as my period? Honestly the bleeding was so light that I would barely consider it spotting and even when I changed the pantiliner there was barely any blood.

2) Also, I have not had to use any type of pad since a few days after my D&C. If I experience any bleeding after this point should I count it as my first AF? 

3) How soon does AF appear for people following a D&C? 

DS1: 8/3/10, DD1: 8/17/13, DD2: 8/13/15

    1) Not sure on that one. 

    2) Possibly, but it is possible to have random bleeding off an on..

    3) Usually anywhere from 4-8 weeks after D&C you can get your period. I got mine 12 weeks later.

    1.  I would count pantyliner days as light.  I bled lightly the for about 5 days after my D&E.  However, last night, I had some random bleeding that surprised me since I hadn't spotted at all during the day.  So it is possible to have random bleeding.

    2.  It depends on when you have any bleeding after this point.  It also depends on how much/how long the bleeding lasts.  Probably wouldn't count light bleeding in the next couple weeks as AF....it doesn't sound likely for it to come that early.  It seems like most people get AF about 4 weeks after.

    3.  Some girls have links to the TTCAL blog in their siggy...there are polls on the right side of the screen that have answers to some common "how long" questions.  I'm only 8 days since my D&E so I have no personal experience in post AF.

    1.  I considered the d&c CD1 even though I didn't bleed heavily at all. I only had one "gush" right after the procedure and then some random spotting for about 2 weeks.

    2. It depends on when you start bleeding. If it comes before 3 weeks then I wouldn't count it as CD1. Also you may spot for a while so I would make sure it is a true flow.

    3. The TTCAL blog has the poll and my personal experience was 29 days.
