Two Under 2

I guess 2u2 will do that to you

As I was changing DD1's diaper, I noticed the diaper she had on looked *a little* small. She had on one of DD2's diapers. Did I mention DD1 wears size 5 diapers and DD2 is in size 1 still? I'd blame DH, except it wasn't his mistake. It was mine. Oops.

  • I can sort of relate, but this was DH's mistake.

The other night, he gave DD#1 her bath upstairs. He brought her down wearing DD#2's pajamas (onesie and pants with a monkey on the butt). DD#1 wears size 18months. These were size 3 months and looked like spandex on her. She looked so uncomfortable, I don't know how he stuffed her in those, but he did. His response was that he 'thought she was just growing, and thought that the pants were supposed to be capri pants.'

  • My DH did that once. I went out on a rare girls night and when ds #1 came out of his room he said he was wet. I took off his pjs and the diaper was barely covering one butt cheek! it was ds#2 size 2 diaper.... At the time ds#1 was just in a pull up overnight.

My H is the king of not being able to pick the right clothes for our kids. Even though I tell him all the time C's clothes are in th eleft drawers and L's are in the right. L wears 3T, and C just got out of 6-9 months!

I know what you mean. My DH will be THAT dad you see at the grocery store and you can't help but laugh when you see him because he has 2 girls and their clothes don't match or they are like dress-up clothes and messy hair.... The other day I saw a little girl with her dad. Her hair was not brushed, she had on a OSU cheerleader outfit, pink and red tights and cowgirl boots... so mismatched. I'm sure he let her dress herself, or he's like my DH and thinks that because something is pink, that anything else that is pink automatically matches....
