I have been complaining about not spending a lot of time with my friends anymore. Tomorrow we have plans to hang out with a couple that we used to always hang out with pre-baby. But, all I want to do is stay home in my pjs and catch up on the dvr.

This stems in no small part from the fact that we swapped baby monitors with friends of H's. They have a bitty baby who likes to sleep on her tummy, and we had the bells & whistles Angelcare. The thing is, their monitor beeps for absolutely no discernible reason occasionally, I can't find anything in the completely useless documentation as to why, and everywhere I look their monitor has sh*tty reviews, because it either beeps randomly or just stops working. I ended up shutting it off and sleeping on the floor of her room at midnight. And of course, she peed through her diaper twice through the night, so it would've been a rough night anyway.

Ohh no. I probably never would have switched monitors. But ours peeps when there is a noise in Jay's room sometimes and others it doesn't. It is a graco monitor but other than that they seem to work good. Hope tonight it better! I'm thinking diapers aren't doing the job anymore. Jay is peeing through his all the time. Luckily we woke up dry this morning. (Him not the diaper).
LO spent the night at my parents from Monday morning till Wednesday afternoon. I just dropped her off again for the weekend. Do I miss her? Yes, every second. Do I feel bad? No. I've been told that we (DH and I) sure do get a lot of "breaks" for being first-time parents.
Is it so wrong that my parents actually enjoys being grandparents and constantly offers to babysit? No. I wish people would just shut it.

I went to a local baby meet up this morning, and while they were all nice people, I don't want to like them because having real friends would cut into my time with you guys.

As far as a FFFC, not sure I have one yet.
