So relieved after NT scan.....

We went in this am for our 9:45 appt., only to be told that the Dr. had an emergency and they needed to reschedule us for this afternoon.  No big deal, at least it wasn't next week!  In the meantime I read that you should eat something prior to the scan and the baby may possibly move more.  Well......I ate a few bites of red velvet cake.  OMG!  That poor baby looked like he/she was having seizures.  I actually felt guilty!  Baby flipped and flopped like crazy!  And all the while, I couldn't feel any of this.  Anyway, the scan was great.  Now we just wait for the blood portion.  But now I know that I need to limit my sugar.  Poor little peanut!

    My baby is a lazy bum.. I guess it takes after its mom. lol. Before I went in, I had a bowl of cereal w/ blueberries, plus a glass of juice for good measure, and for the most part, it just lay there, slowly moving its arms and legs from time to time.

    Glad you got to see the baby being active =0)   When I went for my 10w u/s the baby was dancing, it was awesome, LOL!

    I had mine at noon -- very awesome.  The technician said she was such a good baby, she was moving into good positions for each measurement.  She waved at us and then did 3 or 4 rolls and finally tucked up with her back to the camera.  It was sooooo beautiful to see that.  Also, for the first time her dad came (yeah!) he's been working out of state for the first few visits.  Awesome, awesome, awesome.
