My daughter's hands get a little cold once in a while and it doesn't seem to bother her at all. I've started to notice though that they turn red and get very warm shortly after I've felt them being cold but it doesn't look like this bothers her either. Just wondering if this happens to anyone else's babies or if I should look into it more? I've never seen this happen with anyone I know, so I'm curious.
Re: Cold hands turn to very warm red hands.
I haven't noticed this. It sounds like her body's response to the cold by bringing blood into the area to warm them up, but that's just my theory. I'll keep an eye on this to see if it happens to my LO...
I always wish they made itty bitty gloves for new babies.
