I decided I want/need a new stroller. We are going to CA next week: Disney, the zoo, a 3/4 mile walk to the beach. We have a BOB and a crappy chico umbrella. I don't need a jogging stroller, but something easy to fold, easy to use and better quality than an umbrella.

I've looked at the Uppa Baby, City Select, and the Britax Be whatever. If you love your stroller, tell me why.

It has worked great for us and cheap enough that if the airlines loose it I won't cry

Are you looking for W? When we went to disney M didnt need or want to ride, they also have ones you can rent there.

I love our mia moda it only has a 40lb weight limit though, not sure where he is at.

I'm curious- what is wrong with your Bob? I am looking at buying a bob this weekend and was hoping I could use it for everything. Is there something about yoru BOB that you don't like?

We don't travel with our bob just because it is big and bulky

Yep, this. We were planning to take it but with another baby on the way I figure a stroller can't do us harm so if we get one we should get one now.

We are looking for W but also because we'll have another one soon so I'd like to get one we can use now and with baby #2. We weren't going to use it but the house is less than a mile from the beach and I can see us walking there. But then W not wanting to walk back. And at the park, he might get tired. MIL is going with and suggested we bring it to push all the stuff around. She offered to bring their stroller, which is a travel system thats huge. I'd rather have something light weight if I have to have anything at all.

I really don't have a whole lot of stroller experience under my belt. However, many people I've talked to love their Maclaren stroller. I know that they do have a lot of light weight options.

We LOVE our MacLaren stroller, but it wasn't cheap. There are cheaper models than the one we have though. It is PERFECT for travel.

I would be too scared to bring a nice stroller on a trip fearing that it would get stolen! I'm a worry wart!!

I have the UPPAbaby G-Luxe and I love, love, love it. My girlfriend and her husband and almost 1 year old son just moved to Japan and they bought one right before they left. I think my sister may have also purchased one after seeing mine. I love that it reclines all the way, has a decent sized basket, large sunshade, cup holder for me and folds down umbrella style.
