Ugh..

I feel like we are back in the newborn stage. Jay is up 2-3 times at night. He had been sleeping through the night for months and not this. Good-bye sleep!

So, how are your LO's sleeping?

Re: Ugh..

  • Sleep hasn't been too great for us either.  I don't know if it because he is moving around more in his crib or if it is due to his top teeth coming in.  Maybe it is both?  I hope the STTN comes back though for both of us!

  • E slept horrible the past week or so.  She was randomly waking up screaming every few hours.  She's slept well the past 2 nights though.  Hopefully he goes back to sleeping well for you again soon!

  • We had a tooth pop through yesterday so I thought maybe he would sleep better last night. But he was still up twice and is getting up for his day earlier than normal. I don't think I would mind so much if I could just get to bed earlier.
  • p is doing the same, he's been pretty consistently sttn but this last week he's woken up at least once each night, 3x's last night. for weeks i've been thinking he's teething but nothing new looks like it's coming thru. then the last few days he's been congested so i think he may have a little cold or since our weather just changed big time it may be affecting him. he woke up at 5am this morning & never went back to bed. then around 8:30 he started rubbing his eyes so i fed him & had him in the crib around 9 for a nap. at 9:45 i went to check on him b/c he was STILL fussing, he was kneeling in his crib so now i'm thinking he's just having too much fun playing in there, standing should be fun....

  • For about a month Sophee has been waking up 1-2 times a night as well. She will go back to sleep after a while, but it is challenging. She does have teeth coming in, so we attribute that to maybe why she is waking up or growth spurt...who knows!

  • James went through that stage starting about a month ago, and finally stopped about one week ago, finally sleeping through the night, sometimes only getting up once. Some nights, he would refuse to go back in his crib, bear hugging my neck and screaming. Seems like we have found our solution though, I turned off his night light and he is out for the night, obviously he likes it pitch black in his room, and now that the weather is cooler its not so hot anymore.
