If you did get or do have stretch marks . . .

Do they run in your family (ie mother, sister) or are you the first to sport these battle wounds?

    Just me, not my mom.

     My Dad saw that I have some on my legs and said, "WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOUR LEGS?!??! THAT'S NOT NORMAL!"

    Not sure...I know my mother has them.  Ive had them ever since I hit puberty.

    None yet but my mom had 5 pregnancies and only got stretchmarks when she was pregnant the 4th time with twins and she was 42. One of my sisters has some from when she gained alot of weight one summer. So i am interested to see if i will or not.

    I got them in 6th grade when I went from an A to C.  I've seen my mom's tummy, I will be getting them and already have some from just fat!

    My family calls them Marks of Love though. I will never wear a two piece again, and I'm okay with that.

    My mother is stretch-mark free but both my sister and I have them.  I have had them on my boobs since puberty so I figured I was doomed.

    My mom didn't get stretch marks... neither did my sister, and I didnt get any with my DS (except a small maybe 1/2 inch one on the side of my butt.. haha) ... but so far ::knock on wood::   none.

    I only got stretch marks on my butt after the delivery with my DD.  They are very ugly looking and have gone down some. but I was freaked when I saw my a$ $ on the mirror one day.

    my mom and sister both have them, and I do too already.

    Apparently all i have to do though is use a certain brand of olive oil and Im good to go!! hehe

    None so far - but if I do get some - oh well - thats life....and I think its worth it to have my baby.

    My mom had them, I got them when I had a big growth spurt in junior high - and since getting pg I've gotten more. I'm just not worried about it, I think if you're going to get them you will no matter what $90 cream you use. LOL

    I love the "marks of love" comment - at the end of the day if stretch marks are the worse thing that happens to me I'll be a happy camper Smile

    Now about losing the baby weight after... thats cause for concern. Indifferent

    I was just curious. Everyone always says, "Oh if your mom got them you will or vice versa" My mom never got them and I didn't get them with my first but for some reason I have a feeling I'm going to discover a few this time around. I'm not dreading them if I do get them. We'll just have to see.
