UPDATE: Telling Parents and Siblings TONIGHT!!!

Telling our families the exciting news last night could not have gone any better. We went out to dinner at DH's favorite restaurant and then back to our house for cake and gifts. My sister has 2 small children (4 and 2) asked if we could please do gifts first so that they could scoot on home to put the girls to bed. PERFECT! I looked over to DH and said the key phrase "let me go get your gifts from our room!" When I came out I informed everyone I had already given him his gift earlier that morning and we just wanted to share them with everyone. So, I handed him his mother's picture frame and I had my mom's and my sisters. At the same time we handed them out and waited for the gasps. By this time I was literally shaking and was just looking for someone to hold me. Finally, with tears in her eyes my mom jumped off the couch and gave me a huge hug. As she did I pretty much crumbled in her arms (this was the first time I actually became emotional about baby). My knee's were knocking and my arms were about to shake off of my body. Everyone was SO excited and SO SHOCKED! My dad sat in the chair for a few minutes and didn't say a word. When he did speak he said "I just came for some cake!" Haha! It went exactly how we wanted! I can't wait to do it all again this afternoon when we tell his sister, brother-in-law and our other 2 nieces (2 years and 1 month old)!!

 

I hope you all have just as much fun telling your families when the time see's fit! Love and prayers for all our babies!
