How did everyone's 1st "week" go? I finally got back on the wagon yesterday and I felt pretty proud- got on the scale and my weight is up a pound from last week. I'm trying super hard not to get discouraged. 9 days until vacation and although I know I won't lose a lot of weight, I'd like to at least look slightly less bloated. I'll be chugging water and cutting waaaay down on carbs/sugar.
This may not be very "hlg" but what are thing you do for "last minute" weight loss- c'mon.... I think everyone does it at one point or another. I need tips!

I am packing my lunch for work today and yesterday we ate out for lunch, but I got a cup of soup instead of the giant bowl I really wanted. And I avoided getting a pumpkin walnut cookie from the restaurant next door to where I work...even though I wanted one. I did have too much to snack on after dinner though..
Last minute weight loss...I try to exercise...even after one or two times, I feel more toned (even though technically I am not) and I eat WAY better after I exercise.
I wouldn't say I was horrible this week, but I was definitely not counting Points like I should. This head cold/sinus thing has not had me thinking straight, so I haven't cared about counting. I have been drinking a ton of water, and if I'm feeling OK later, going for a short run when DH gets home from his soccer game.
Last minute - I try to plan as many meals as possible so I stay within my points, drink lots of water, and exercise as much as I can. It may not show too much on the scale, but at least overall I feel better, so I can be in a positive mood.
