Commute - Narberth to Albert Einstein

Hi all,

Can anyone give me an idea of what a typical commute would be from Narberth to Albert Einstein Hospital?  We'd take Montgomery Ave, Presidential Blvd, Rte 1, 76, then Rt 1/Roosevelt Expressway to Broad.  The commute would be during typical work hours.  Some are telling us 25 minutes and others 45 minutes.

Thanks!

  • That is very true--or it could be longer.  Even though it's probably only a 10 mile commute it is a high traffic route during rush hours.

  • I am from the area and used to work close to Einstein.  if you take 76, it will def take you close to 45 min during rush hour traffic.  I worked closed to mt. airy but you may want to consider taking lincoln drive, it is probably faster then sitting in the crazy 76 traffic

  • This is basically my commute, I work very close to Einstein and live in Wynnewood. I take Montgomery/back roads to the 76/Route 1 entrance. You really don't get on 76 at all, just run along side it for a short bit before you get on Roosevelt Parkway. I also take the back roads (from Wissihickon Ave North, the exit right before Broad) rather than getting off at Broad St. This has shaved at least 5-10 minutes off my commute depending on the time of day.

During rush hour it takes me around 30 minutes, but it has taken up to 45 minutes. But I am usually driving in non-rush hour periods and it usually takes me 20 around minutes.

  • Thanks so much for the helpful information!
