Crap (and a request for some healthy dust please?)

C just woke up from his nap with a fever :-(  And we fly to MI for a wedding tomorrow at the crack of dawn.  I gave him some Tylenol but is there anything else I should do?  He was fussy and super clingy when he woke up but he seems to be totally fine now.  Ugh, I really hope this isn't the start of anything bad.  We are driving from MI to VA with my parents after the wedding weekend (~10 hour drive) and we will be gone for over a week.  Any advice?

    Ugh, I'm sorry.  I hope whatever it is passes quickly and that C gets back to his regular easy-going self for your trip.

    Didn't this happen the last time y'all went home, too?  Maybe C is allergic to flying back home.  Y'all should just stay put.  Forever and ever, amen.

    Sorry he's got a fever - hope it goes away soon and y'all have a super-smooth travel day tomorrow!!

    Dang girl, memory of steel.  Yup, this exact thing happened.  It was the evening before we were flying out and we ended up going to urgent care.  Turned out that it was a slight ear infection so they gave us an antibiotic and sent us on our way.  I really hope it doesn't turn out to be an ear infection :-(

    Maybe he is allergic to flying...but he is super duper excited about going on the airplane tomorrow :-)

    Oh my,  that is stressful.  Here's hoping it's just a new tooth or one of those random unexplained short-lived fevers that just mysteriously go away in a day.
