The name an old friend plans on naming her daughter due in 5 weeks. She isn't that close of a friend anymore, so I feel I can't really give my honest opinion. Mae is an older name and isn't bad, but Codah??? It means friend in a Native American language. I can't remember which one....perfect for a dog.

I know of a Native American child with the name Dakota... maybe they are just trying to shorten it? Either way, not a fan.
