Small/Short Fundal Height

I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this, but my doctor told me my fundal height was not quite where he wants it to be - my belly is smaller than should be.  So I'm going to have another ultrasound next week to check on things.

My dr. doesn't seem too worried, but it's still unsettling.  Anyone have any positive stories they'd like to share??? Confused

    I just went through this 2 weeks ago, I was 2cm too small. Today, however, when I had my appointment I was measuring spot on. She said it could have been the baby's position or just taking my abdominal muscles a little longer to seperate. I think the main thing they want to watch for is the IUGR.

    Try not to worry too much (easier said than done) T&Ps!

    My co-worker has been that way with every one of her children and they are all fine. They were just small babies. right now she is only 6 weeks behind me and I look like a whale and she doesnt look pregnant AT ALL.

    I just had an appointment today, and my stomach measured 2cm smaller too. My dodctor didn't say anything about it being a bad thing though. She actually said that everything was looking perfect. When I had the 20 week a/s the baby measured 2 weeks early. I don't know it doesn't make sense to me, but as long as my doctor isn't worried i'm not.

    We had our ultrasound.  Turns out our little girl is breech at the moment, but there is plenty of time for her turn.  Apparently, this can cause shorter readings.  Everything else was "average" Big Smile

    Mine is small but I get regular ultrasounds and baby Sidney is measuring okay so doc isn't worried.
