Stuck under an overpass this morning, Stel was watching the pigeons in the rafters.
And then she jumped out of the sunroof.
[insert eyes bugging out of my head emoticon]
She landed back in the car, I had a heart attack, and now I will always use her seatbelt for every trip.

I was sofucking shocked. I burst into tears about 10 minutes later.
She came down on me and the gearshift, but was totally ready to have at it again. I pulled off to the shoulder (not that we were moving) and got out, yelling at her... I didn't have her seatbelt in the car, so I strung her leash through the lap belt and 'buckled' her that way. We have a screen barrier between the front seat and the back seat, so they can't come into the front seat area, but I never thought she would just jump through the sunroof. She just kept looking at those stupid pigeons.
I used to be "Chasingthedog" but it would never let me update my profile.

I know - we never let them hang their heads out the window. I'll put the back windows down, but they just lie down in the seat, they don't even really sit up in the car. I used to be so good about always buckling Riley up whenever he was in the car, and I guess after the move I just stopped using their seatbelts. Not anymore!
OMG I probably would have died of a heart attack. And then laughed until I peed.
Can you imagine what the people behind you thought?!
I'm glad she's ok (and that's the only reason I think it's kind of funny)!
I can only imagine!
Now I can laugh at it. 10 hours later. At the time I couldn't decide whether to throw up, cry, or strangle her with my bare hands.
Oh my gosh...at first I thought stella was your daughter and I was like, "Why the HELL didn't she have a seatbelt on in the first place!!!"
ha ha ha I'm glad it was your dog and not your daughter, and I'm sorry she scared you! Glad everything's ok!
