drive by post- help me w/ a middle name?

DD#2 will most likely have a 3-syllable name, so we're looking for middle name suggestions that are one syllable ideally (just a thing I have!).

Bonus points if it's German, it has a pretty meaning and/or it's not too trendy!  I totally realize that it's nearly impossible to meet all 3 guidelines.

I've gone through tons of baby name books /websites and nothing is jumping out at me.

    I have no idea if it's German or has a pretty meaning, but I love my non-trendy middle name.  It's Lane.  I've never met another person with the middle name Lane and when I was a kid I loved it so much I went through a stage where I told other kids my real name was Lane/Lanie.

    DD's MN is Ruth after DH's grandma.  She's German (as is DH), so I know it's authentic.  ;)  It means "friend" and is definitely not trendy.  I think it's pretty classic.

    Sorry - hit post before I wrote all I meant to write.  His cousin's wife's name is Jil (Jill), which means "youthful."  I can't think of any other family names that are only one syllable, but I'll keep trying!

    Another two syllable one (sorry) that I love is Greta. My friend just named her baby girl that.

    Thanks for the suggestions.  Blythe is actually DD1's middle name and DH wants to use it again but I don't.  We do love that name though.

    And I also saw a name that I suggested in your replies - but DH has vetoed it :(

    My BIL's middle name is Lane and I adore it.  I kinda wanted to give Coop that middle name b/c I like it so much, but then I don't really like my BIL so that was not really an option.

    I have a stupid middle name and it's 2 syllables, so I won't share.

    I ditto Liesl.  Cute name.

    Mine's Rose...and I love it. Single syllable, not the same old thing. Short and sweet.
