Flu shot side effect? TMI

I got my flu shot yesterday and since this morning I have had horrible diarrhea. sorry TMI. I've had the flu shot before and I don't remember this. Has anyone experienced this after the flu shot or is this just coincidence?

I haven't heard of that as a side effect of the flu shot, but it definitely sounds like a side effect of pregnancy :-( Sorry you are dealing with it ---- be sure you are getting plenty of fluids as diarrhea can be very dehydrating.

I got one a couple weeks ago and the only side effect was a sore arm that evening. I don't remember reading it as a side effect on the FAQ sheet they give with the vaccine. Hope you feel better soon!

I had a fever and vomiting after mine last year. And agree with PP, hydrate a LOT with diarrhea.

Do you have the same issue with eggs?

The flu shot may contain some amount of the protein found in eggs

I got the shot 2 days ago. That night I was sweating and told DH to turn down the thermostat. Then we remembered the shot and figured that was it. Otherwise just a sore arm.

I've never heard of that as a side effect of the flu shot.

I had mine last week and had an extremely sore arm and felt very lethargic for the first day. I didn't see diarrhea as a side effect in my pamphlet....sounds like it might just be coincidence. Sorry you're feeling badly!!
