So it went like this...

Me: DH, I need you to do the snotsucker on me. I want to see if it hurts the baby. Here (places snotsucker tube in his hand, holds blue test tube to my nose). Oh wait, you hold the tube to my nose.

DH: What? No! I'm not doing that. Look, it doesn't hurt (DH inserts blue test tube in his own nose, starts sucking the red part).

Me: That's not going to show you how it feels. You told me you would do this (months and months ago). Just do it.

DH: What's this thing called?

Me: Snotsucker

DH: No, it's not! Lynn, it doens't hurt. I'm not doing this.

Me: C'mon, just do it real quick. (Again, I insert blue test tube in my nose, hand DH the red opening).

DH: Did you take the foam out of it?

Me: NO! (that would have been clever though)

DH: (begins to suck, for like 1 split second, then starts to cough, gag, runs out of room) I swear I taste something, I heard it sucking your boogers, this is disgusting (Ahem, Ahem, Gag, Gag...runs to bathroom)

Me: hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha (almost pees pants) 

1 hour later - DH still coughing downstairs...I hear him as I was nursing JT to sleep.

What a loser!

    He wouldn't let me do it on him. And I couldn't tell if it hurt, it was for such a split second, I think he just took in teeny bit of air and freaked out. The sucking probably never even made it to my nose.

    Why are men so scared of bodily stuff? DH doesn't use the snotsucker on LO while I would do anything to give her some relief. He knows she likes it and would rather not do it. Then he hates poop (he has to clean all poop diapers as a result) and gags at throw up. Really? Grow up.

    OMG! I am laughing so hard that there are tears in my eyes and my tummy hurts..hahah...This is the best story ever...I want to try it on my DH and see him squirm..he can't handle stuff like that at all..lol...
