Tev-Tropin (HGH) anyone?

My RE originally called in Saizen for me.  Found out today that the RE called and switched it to Tev-Tropin.

Anyone had Tev-Tropin injections?  Just curious how it went for you.

    Sorry, I was was Omnitrope. I don't know how similar or different they are.  But I hope the Tev-Tropin doesn't burn as much as the Omnitrope does!

    Diagnosis: Blood clotting and bleeding disorder, immune issues, & cervical stenosis
    5/10 - 1st IVF cycle - BFN
    FET - 10/12/10 - BFN
    1/11 - IVF with PGD - BFN
    IVF - May - BFN
    6/11 New RE - fingers crossed!
    9/11 - IVF - 4 transferred
    10/13 - BFP!!
    It's a boy! Clint Michael, Due in June!!!

    naybird, I thought of you today!  Couldn't remember which one you were on.  I've also heard that Ganirelix burns too so this is going to be a fun-filled cycle.  lol.  Good luck to you too!!  You are doing great!

    I don't remember the ganirelix burning to badly.  Are you on menopure?  That one burns!  If you have to take HGH and menopure, I tried to not do the injections close to eachother.  I think it helped if I did the HGH first and then the menopure... but I can't remember for sure! 

    You will do fine!  Just make sure you have an ice pack handy, just in case! Smile

    Menopur is horrible!  Ugh!  This cycle I'm using Follistim instead.  Fingers crossed for some relief.  I still can't believe that some women don't experience the burning/stinging.  Yes, I see lots of ice in my future :-)

    Yeah, my RE looked at me like I was crazy when I told her how badly it burned! She said nobody told her that before.. So fingers crossed it's just me, and you won't have any burning at all!!!!

    I was on Tev-Tropin.  Don't remember it feeling any different from the other injections.  I wish you the best with your cycle!

    Yup, I was on Tev-Tropin for both my IVF cycles, absolutely no problems (other than you know, a needle in my a$$!) but it didn't hurt or burn at all. I've never been on Menopur but also used Follistim in both cycles with no injection issues. I was doing 3 IM shots in the morning and 2 IM shots at night for my second IVF and I just made sure to alternate sides, the side that got 2 in the morning, only got 1 the next morning and so forth but sometimes I forgot and still had no problems. Good luck!

    I was on Tev-Tropin for all three of my IVF cycles.  It was done SQ and it wan't a problem.  Garnirelix gave my huge bruises everytime I had to use it.

    ~SAIF/PAIF/Everyone Welcome~ 

    Me= 37 and DH = 41 

    Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)

    IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN

    IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.

    IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132.  Lil is here!

    TTC#2:  Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.

    IVF #4:  BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #5:  MDLF + Lovenox = 4R, 1F = Transferred 1 10-cell compacting embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #6:  (New RE):  Long Antagonist November 2014 (transferred two 8 cell grade 1 embryos and froze one blast) = BFN

    FET#1:  BFN
