sick & want to go home but feel like a whimp

I caught DD's cold/cough & just really feel like crud today.  I considered staying home, but decided to try to tough it out since I'm the only one that can do my job & didn't want to get behind.  Honestly I really just want to go home, but since I'm not dealthy sick, I feel like I'm just being a whimp.

    Sometimes getting that extra rest early on helps to fight that cold :)

    I feel like this today!! I got DH's cough/cold and just want to curl up in a ball on the couch. Ugh!

    I wish there were something that could take the edge off a little & make it possible to sort of function.  for some reason something citrus & fizzy sounds like it would just fix me right up....not sure why since I've never taken alka seltzer or anything.

    don't take alka seltzer.  But Sierra Mist is a good alternative.

    I feel your pain.  I am home sick today with a case of pink eye and it sucks!  I've been trying to save up my sick days so I can use them for maternity leave.

    I had my first pregnancy cold last weekend (never got sick with my first DD) and I felt like death.  Seriously, I had no idea a cold could be so bad.  I am thinking it was because I am pregnant.

    I would totally go home if I could.
